To understand PANIC! and see it in action, please view our AMAZING YouTube demo movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j34YpEMSek filmed exclusively on Location for the Gear App Challenge.
PANIC! is a complete Free Personal Security Alarm System for Samsung Gear 2. The App is a standalone application that can be armed by a vulnerable user in just one tap. PANIC! is designed to protect Gear 2 users from unwanted attention when wearing their device out on the streets. In the USA alone, a 'person on person' attack happens every 30 seconds*. PANIC! uses a unique high tone pitched algorithm-based alarm to distract and disperse strangers away from the Gear 2 user. PANIC! also serves other purposes, such as being able to immediately raise help and assistance through the alarm awareness in a situation such as a medical emergency or rescue situation.
PANIC! is 100% free without adverts and does not require a data connection, ensuring the greatest instant protection every time. Future features include mapping and social media alert posting to alert loved ones. *Source: FBI.gov
