Inspiration
The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused so many people to go through isolation, grief, and pain, and this was my inspiration to make a website that can allow people to stay safe.
What it does
It gives you basic information about Covid-19, like symptoms and details, and it also tells you how to stay safe in the current situation. In addition, there is a simulator that you can use that helps you symbolize how Covid-19 affects a community.
How we built it
We used HTML and JavaScript for the Website, and used Scratch for the simulator.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges that we ran into were the building of the simulator because we didn't know how we were going to make one with JavaScript, so we switched to Scratch. In addition, we had formatting issues with the website in the beginning, so we had to restart and make the formatting correct.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Created a working website and simulator that can help people stay safe and healthy.
What we learned
We learned how to incorporate links into HTML and make a website, in addition to creating a simulator all from scratch.
