Inspiration
In the flood of diverse information about the new coronavirus it's difficult for individuals, scientists, health care workers or decision makers to access a consolidated database of verified, medically correct, updated information.
What it does
The site collects and display as much information as possible about the COVID-19 virus and it's health, social, ecologic, economic impacts on humanity.
How I built it
I built the whole site from scratch, reusing parts of some of my past projects. It's using only open source softwares, based on the tech stack below:
-MongoDb -NestJS -Mongoose -Angular -Bootstrap -Chart.js, AmChart -Font Awesome
Challenges I ran into
Data exists (or not) in lot of different places in different, continuously changing formats what needs a lot of manual transformations and manual processing.
