Inspiration

As a current engineering student during this COVID-19 pandemic, it is often difficult to keep up with the news and to be able to separate fact from fear. I wanted to create something that would help students like me, make decisions for themselves about COVID-19 and keep themselves informed as we move into the vaccination phase of the pandemic. I understand how vaccines can be scary and overwhelming, especially if you are afraid of hospitals or needles, but it’s for the safety and health of all of us that we get vaccinated when it is our turn to do so. It is also important to keep in mind that even if you are vaccinated, you must continue to wear a mask to help prevent the spread to others who are not vaccinated. But who says we don’t have to embrace our masks and create a “Mask Culture” out of it in the process!

What it does

It educates individuals on COVID-19 and what it means to be vaccinated!

I am proud that I was able to create something that could hopefully help a lot of students like me.

What we learned

I learned that the more you learn about something, the less scary it seems!

What's next for Pandemic Bud

I hope to include a feature that would allow you to share the content with family and friends, keeping everyone up to date during the pandemic!
