Inspiration
Our inspiration for creating Panda Borderless came from observing the difficulties and high fees that many individuals face when conducting cross-border transactions. We wanted to help those immigrant workers who spend much of their limited rest time on weekends waiting in line to send money to their families, making it more accessible and affordable for everyone.
Goals
Our primary goal is to leverage blockchain technology to facilitate faster and more cost-effective financial transactions. This objective has been recognized by the G20 as a key area of focus in the development and implementation of blockchain solutions. By utilizing the capabilities of this technology, we believe we can make significant improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of financial transactions, ultimately leading to a more streamlined and effective financial system.
What it does
Panda Borderless utilizes the Ethereum blockchain to facilitate cross-border payments, allowing users to easily send and receive payments to and from other countries at competitive exchange rates and low fees. Our platform is built using a variety of tools and technologies, including AWS, Truffle, and Ether.js, and we have worked closely as a team of developers and designers to bring our vision to life.
Challenges we ran into
We faced several challenges while developing Panda Borderless, such as navigating the complexities of the Ethereum blockchain and ensuring that our platform was secure and user-friendly. We also had to overcome some regulatory hurdles in order to bring our platform to market.
What's next for PandaBorderless
- Create a permissioned network with hyperledger besu with integration
- Further development of currencyExchange smart contract to receive latest exchange rate dynamically
- There are even bigger plans for the future of Panda Borderless and hope to continue growing and expanding our platform, adding new features and payment options for our users.
