Sending money to relatives has always been a tradition every lunar new year. But if we can send crypto, why send ordinary money?

Inspiration

Chinese New Year is an important event for many people, and giving angbao is one of the most awaited event in this festive. Angbao are traditionally given physically, but its not uncommon that e-Angbaos are being used, especially during the pandemic. We are inspired to create ETHongbao, a form of e-Angbao that is integrated with the ETH coin, and is secured in the blockchain.

What it does

We create a fast, reliable, convenient, and secure method of Angbao gifting across the world, globally.

How we built it

We used CoinGecko API to get ETH prices, and use ETH APIs to manage transactions
