Inspiration
We were inspired by the wide use of chatbots in other projects. Our project aims to mimic the success of Human - Computer communication by also using them to support citizen aid.
What it does
How we built it
We used an SQL database and PHP Restful API, with an app in Java and the chatbot in a Python framework.
Challenges we ran into
Of course, creating a bot and predicting the results and questions that a human might have, while taking danger in account, can be difficult. A user needs to get out of the site of danger as soon as possible, and the tunnel vision inherent in these situations can make interaction with a chatbot difficult. This is why we want, in situations of emergency, the chatbot to start a call to Emergency services, so they can best respond in time.
