Having a great weekend with our friends in combination with Algorithms & Optimization.
What it does
We built the most flexible fleet management optimization tool! We provide Robotaxi managers with different algorithms to optimize their fleet route plan based on their predefined goals and KPIs.
How we built it
We used Python, Streamlit, Scipy and a lot of brain power.
Challenges we ran into
Our teammates was struck with sudden Italian syndrome, and we couldn't turn him back in time. So if you see a dark-skinned beautiful Indian man with a comical Italian accent, please do know, dear reader that we did try, fruitlessly and aimlessly.
Getting Streamlit to do things it was not supposed to do was easier said than done!
It goes without saying that being awake for more than 25 hours was adding a different kind of challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Surviving Sudden Italian syndrome. Also we are happy about the 9 research papers we read to prepare for our algorithmic solution.
What we learned
The "easiest" tools make your life the "hardest". And the "hardest" tools make your life even harder. Only teamwork can save you!
