ML to predict Breast Cancer and App for Patients and Doctors.

Our inspiration came from the many people we know to have breast cancer. We wanted to find a way to help doctors detect the cancer in a much faster way, and to help the patient and doctor have a quick connection if needed. We also achieved the goal of making an app where the patient can see all of his medical information, in one place, instead of roaming around a hospital database to find much needed information.

We build the app using the framework ionic and for the front end we used Angular. The ML model was tested with many different algorithms and we eventually chose to use decision tree classifier as it ended up with a 99% accuracy.

We ran into many problems in both the ML model and the app, and overcame it by extensive research and short breaks to ease our minds.
