Panacea is an Android application designed to streamline the process of booking doctor appointments just by using your mobile phone. Users can easily authorize themselves within the app and schedule appointments without any hassle. In addition to appointment booking, Panacea offers a range of health-related functionalities, including BMI (Body Mass Index) and BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) calculations, along with personalized health tips for different patient categories.
The application was built using various software Design Patterns to ensure a scalable and maintainable codebase. Rigorous testing was conducted, including Unit testing and UI testing, using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito. Continuous Integration (CI) testing was also implemented to ensure code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
As a team project, version control was managed using Git and GitHub, where collaborative efforts were streamlined through merging and pull requests among the developers. This approach facilitated efficient teamwork and code management, resulting in a well-tested and robust application.
