Our mascot, Eepy!
Inspiration
The inspiration was coming from multiple ideas, from shimeji or a desktop friend, to a pomodoro timer, we all brainstormed what is the best fit for Hopperhacks 2024 theme - Slumber Party!
What it does
This chrome extension will ask you what time is your bed time, and then once bed time come close enough, our mascot and your browser friend, Eepy, will remind you to go to bed by having a timer pop up in your browser! This extension also gave some pop ups once in a while giving healthy tips, or even life tips!

How we built it
By using JavaScript for the backend, and HTML for the frontend. Eepy is drawn digitally by using Procreate.
Challenges we ran into
Since this is the first hackaton for most of the team members, we tried to use language that we are not familiar with or never even write in that language before, which is both JavaScript and HTML, we all have to learn on the fly on how to use it, but in the end, everything works out great (hopefully).

Managed to make the frontend and the backend works together, and the timer works!

Since PalWare is many of this team members first hackaton project, who knows what will happen in the future! PalWare may get more updates in the future!
