Inspiration
-PERSONAL EXPERIENCES IN THE WINTER, AND THE INSIGHT OF HOW TECHNOLOGIES ARE ADVANCING AND MORE RELEVANT IN OUR SOCIETY, WE THOUGHT ABOUT HOW WE COULD INCORPORATE THE TECHNOLOGIES INTO OUR WINTER IN NORTH AMERICA TO ASSIST US BETTER.
- EVERYONE WANTS TO MINIMIZE THE HUSTLES BUT MATCHING UP THE PACES OF THE SOCIETY AT THE SAME TIME-CARRYING FEWER BELONGINGS WOULD BE AN IDEAL GOAL TO ACHIEVE-TO COMPROMISED THE TWO IDEAS- BRING THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY.BUT LESS WEIGHT AND HUSTLE WAS OUR INITIAL MOTIVATIONS.
What it does
To Safely Keep us warm, as well as living our busy life with full accessibility to the device.
How we built it
- A SWITCH IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED IN THE INTERFACE CARD, AS WELL AS A RECHARGEABLE BATTERY WITH FULL CHARGE CAPACITY. ALL DEVICES WILL BE PROTECTED AND HAVE PROPER INSULATION, BEING PLACED INSIDE THE GLOVES LINING TO PREVENT PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH THE BATTERY
-IT IS AS SIMPLE AS A WIRELESS CHARGER; ONCE THE SWITCH IS ON, YOU CAN SIMPLY HOLD YOUR PHONE AND YOUR PHONE START CHARGING, AND YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION OF TURNING IT OFF, CHARGING WITH MAX 1/2” DISTANCE FROM THE COIL.
Challenges we ran into
- THE KNITTING MACHINE WAS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PRODUCT, BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF EXPERIENCES WITH THE MACHINE; AS WELL AS GET A GRIP ON HOW THE KNITTING STRUCTURES COULD HAVE IMPACTS IN FUNCTIONALITY OF GARMENTS.
- THE SECOND CHALLENGE WAS FINDING A PERFECT LINING FOR PROTECTING THE DEVICES IN OUR PROTOTYPE. THE MATERIAL NEEDED TO BE AS STRETCHY AS THE GLOVES.
- TIME CONSUMED RESEARCHES DUE TO THE LACK OF EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE REGARDS TO THE PROPER INCORPORATION OF TECHNOLOGIES INTO FASHION.

- CONSUMER WHO OWNS A DEVICE THAT SUPPORTS WIRELESS CHARGING FEATURE. THOUGH RECOMMENDED FOR ADULTS OVER 16 YEARS OLD WHO IS QUALIFYING HANDLING ELECTRONIC DEVICES DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- HOW GROUP MEMBERS THAT HAVE DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTICS COULD CORPORATE AND COMPROMISED EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE SAME GOAL, AS WELL AS HAVING THE SAME VISION AND DIRECTION FOR THE PRODUCTION, EQUALLY DISTRIBUTED JOBS BASE ON EACH OTHERS' DIFFERENCES-PERFECTLY WORKED OUT AND ALLOW US NOT ONLY COMPLETE THE PRODUCT BUT ALSO POLISHING BEYOND THE EXPECTATION- ALL IN LIMITED ONE AND A HALF DAYS -ON TOP OF THE SUCCESSFUL COLLABORATION, WE HAD ALSO RECEIVED SOME PRECIOUS FRIENDSHIPS.

-BY USING THE KNITTING MACHINE TO PRODUCE THE GLOVES-WE ARE SAVING TIME, SAVING FABRIC SINCE THE ACCURACY OF THE MACHINE COMPARED TO THE GLOVES THAT ARE MANUFACTURED IN FACTORIES-IT HAS A GOOD CAUSE IN OUR SOCIETY SINCE IT WILL CREATE MORE JOBS THAT WOULD REQUIRE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, WHICH WOULD ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO PURSUE ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR A GOOD CAUSE. -AS WELL, WHEN PRODUCING THE GLOVES, OUR FIRST CHOICE WOULD BE GOING TOWARDS VEGAN LEATHER, WHICH WOULD BE ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY AS WELL AS ITS LONG DURABILITY.
What's next for your project
- TO WORK TOWARDS THE MARKET AND LAYOUT THE BLUEPRINT FOR THE FURTHER PRODUCTIONS. MINIMIZED PRODUCTION WASTES AS WELL AS CONCRETE THE TECHNOLOGY INTERGORATIONS.
- THE IDEAL IS TO MAKE THE WIRELESS DEVICE SMALLER, FUNCTION MORE SMOOTHER, HAVE THE QUALITY TO BE FLEXIBLE; BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART WOULD BE HAVING A PRACTICAL, IMPERCEPTIBLE DEVICE WITH THE IMPROVED AND ADVANCED PERFORMANCES.
