Inspiration

We realized that many students, especially in high school, often struggle with understanding key concepts before exams. There’s usually limited time, and textbooks are hard to navigate. We wanted to build a tool that provides just the right answer, clearly explained, and downloadable — all in under 30 seconds.

What it does

PAKA PASS GURU (PPG) is an AI-powered academic assistant that helps students:

How we built it

• Built using Bolt.new (a no-code development platform)
• Hosted on Netlify
• Connected with GPT-based AI for question-answering
• Auto-generates styled PDF and .txt documents for download
• User interface designed with a futuristic black-orange theme and Lora font

Challenges we ran into

• Structuring GPT responses into well-formatted educational notes
• Handling image uploads and converting them into clear questions
• Designing a flow that is simple enough for school students to use independently

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Completed a full product with both text and image input support
• Integrated fast PDF and text export options
• Created a clean user experience that anyone can use in seconds
• Received positive feedback from students in early testing
