Kingdom Rush!
What it does
It's a tower defence game where you can place towers anywhere and the art style is really cool, hopefully.
How we built it
Game was built in Godot and the assets were made in Procreate and Krita
Challenges we ran into
Doing the enemy pathfinding took more than 20 tries and it' still horrible ahah (I should've made the towers destructible)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The artstyle is really cool and two of the towers have decent animations!
What we learned
I will not spend that much time on the enemy AI. I had to revert to the initial code anyways haha
What's next for PaintTek
Hopefully working on it over the summer, maybe adding 20+ towers, multiple stages maybe even an open world stype map! Only maybe...
P.S. I would also like to add tower HP and more enemy types, In the current version, the enemies are too easy and too slow. I wish I had more time to playtest
