We are inspired by every-day fishermen that brave the seas with little to no information.
How it works
Most fishermen in low income countries do not have equal access to information as large professional fishing operations. Our dashboard gives real time data through SMS and encrypted Radio sounds. We enable this with partnerships with major carries; in Chile, this is Claro, Intel, and Movistar.

Creating the infrastructure to share information with low connectivity.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Filtering the most relevant information with feedback from a team involving Marine Biologists, fishermen, and university science professors.
What I learned
We learned how radio plays an essential part in marine communications.
What's next for PAI (Pescadores Artesanales Informados)
Implementing encoding the most relevant data into sounds sent by radio broadcast communications that is interpreted by the app into the PAI dashboard.
