Inspiration
All three of us are very passionate about inclusivity in society and aiding marginalized people. We decided to make a website easily accessible by everyone on the internet to try to spread awareness about pronouns and people who use gender-neutral pronouns.
What it does
Our website educates the general public about personal gender pronouns and provides a tool to see these pronouns in action in order to help those who use gender-neutral pronouns feel safer and more included in society.
How we built it
We built our website on repl.it using html, CSS, and javascript.
Challenges we ran into
Since this was our first time creating a full-fledged website, we had some trouble with certain aspects of the languages we used, such as html forms and javascript alerts. However, we were figure everything out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
All of us have very minimal knowledge in html, CSS, and javascript, so we were very proud that we were able to create a useful and functional website within the time limit.
What we learned
We learned a lot about collaboration, as well as the different features of the three coding languages we used. Additionally, through our research, we learned things about pronouns that we did not know before.
What's next for PAFE - Pronouns Are for Everyone
We want to work on adding even more information and resources to our site.
