padel is blowing up and theres still no easy way to know how you actually played. is my backhand holding up, how hard am i hitting, am i getting better? most people just guess or mess with their phone between points

so we built PadelWatch. you wear your apple watch, you play, it handles the rest

  • counts every shot from your wrist - drives, volleys, bandejas, viboras, lobs, smashes. no tapping mid rally
  • keeps score live with real padel rules (golden point, tiebreak at 6-6, best of 3)
  • syncs every match to the iphone app and saves it as a health workout
  • shows how hard you hit, your shot quality and whats working
  • trends over time so you can actually see progress, plus share cards for the group chat

we already made PickleWatch for pickleball so padel felt like the natural next one. its all native swift/swiftui on watchOS and iOS. shot detection runs off the watch motion sensors, a shared engine does the padel scoring, matches sync over WatchConnectivity and save to HealthKit. tracking and scoring is free, Pro unlocks the full shot breakdown and trends through RevenueCat ($9.99/mo, $49.99/yr with a 7 day free trial, or $119.99 lifetime)

hardest part was the overheads. to a wrist sensor a bandeja, vibora and smash look kinda the same, so we had a racket sports coach come over and do each shot one by one while we logged every swing and tuned the thresholds. padel also isnt a real healthkit workout type so a lot of that had to be mapped by hand
