My parents' basement flooded a few months ago, so they hired a contractor to quote a price for the project. Due to the complexity of the project and the many third party vendors involved, the contractor had to keep track of hours, many receipts, invoices from people. The process was complicated and time-consuming, and lacked transparency for my parents.
If the contractor had a way to easily manage the project receipts, invoices, and time on a mobile device that my parents had access to, they could improve their own efficiency and increase trust with my parents.
The solution is an app is called Pact. Pact: ~ Easily manages all invoices on ~ Uses optical character recognition with photos of receipts and invoice to categorize and summarize data from various third-parties. ~ Automatically sends push notifications to their customer with the submission of each new ticket. ~ Generates real-time project summary for the customer to see the line item charges, so contractor and customer can see progress.
