Inspiration:

We were inspired by the 2024 hackathon winners, in which the winning solutions often solved real world issues and helped a community. Therefore, we wanted to do the same, and do something related to cost of living.

What it does:

Packwise uses AI to optimise package packing, maximising shipping space, reducing trips, costs and environmental impact for companies and consumers.

How we built it:

We built it using Codex.

Challenges we ran into:

The main challenges we ran into were coming up with ideas. Each of us had different plans on how we wanted to give back to the community. In the end, after days of discussion and guidance from ChatGPT and Gemini, we came up with Packwise.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We are proud to build a fully working website that used 3d rendering in order to aid the user in their understanding of how to pack the items properly.

What we learned:

Through the guidance of professionals as well as AI, we learnt that building a fully functional website/app like Packwise requires many languages and software to build and perfect it. For example, we used Mobbin, Codex, .xyz and more to ensure that Packwise was fully running.
