Inspiration
We were inspired by how well we could analyze the resumes.
What it does
It parses resume files and then generatively prepares a response that includes, "Strength", "Weaknesses", "General Comments" and "Compatibility Score" for the particular applicant we submitted the resume file.
How we built it
We started coding on Saturday, and we realized that we didnt have a lot of time to finish the UI 100%, but together we managed to have a good UI and a good system where it 100% works.
Challenges we ran into
Resume parser was definitely a challenge, we had to use a specific library to parse the resumes. And also getting specific attributes and analyzing them was a challenge definitely.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our resume parser and the system where we can calculate the compatibility score of a resume. From what we have seen, it correctly analyzes the user and it matches everything. Also, it is able to give great comments about the "applicant" and how they can improve or where they are at in terms of being ready for an interview for that specific job.
What we learned
How to parse a resume file. It was challenging definitely. We also learned how to work in a team environment
What's next for Pacino.ai
We are planning to make it so we can analyze multiple resumes ideally 100s of resumes at once and rank them for employees to see.
