Inspiration

Our team was inspired by web development we undertook as industrial experience projects at the University of the South Pacific.

What it does

This platform allows the civil society to contribute their opinions and views by remarking on the topics of importance in each blog post. Hence, they will be able to read content and view images pertaining to each topic. Additionally, individuals can signup and login in order to create a blog post based on relevant topic in the pacific community, while updating content in each post.

How we built it

The platform was built using Visual Studio Code as our integrated development environment.

Challenges we ran into

Mostly, fixing the bugs in the code thus resulting our team not completing the entire project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We accomplished web development although we are from a computer networking background.

What we learned

Alot to learn while coding and having fun with the team during this hackathon.

What's next for Pacific Islands Forum

Further, this platform will be used as building block towards a fully integrated online website.
