This commissioned piece for The Hip Abduction’s song Pacific Coast Highway follows a lone deer on a poetic journey through the misty forests and rugged coastline of the Pacific Northwest. Blending natural beauty with digital imagination, the video explores solitude, renewal, and the quiet dialogue between wilderness and spirit.
My creative process unfolded roughly as follows:
- Crafted the initial storyboard in LTX Studio to establish the visual direction.
- Expanded and refined the narrative ideas and prompts using ChatGPT.
- Upscaled LTX Studio outputs through Magnific AI (via Freepik).
- Created additional b-roll and establishing imagery in Midjourney, then upscaled through Magnific AI. 4.5. Used Nano Banana and Seedream for alternate shots and corrections. 4.75. Enhanced lighting, color, and small details in Photoshop.
- Brought each scene to life (img2vid/txt2vid) using Seedance 1.0 Pro/Lite and Kling models.
- Assembled and edited the full piece in CapCut.
- Upscaled the final video from 720p to 4K using Topaz Video AI for maximum fidelity.
