Inspiration: The problems faced during parking, unreasonable pricing.
What it does: It captures the number plate while exiting and entering the gate, sends the respective time frames, and then calculates the duration. Then, according to the hourly rate calculates the parking rate and directly deducts it from the blockchain wallet/credit card.
How we built it: We used roboflow and streamlit in order to make the number plate recognition work. For the frontend we used Nest.js while for backend we have nodejs and expressjs. The blockchain wallet is made using solidity for Ethereum.
Challenges we ran into: Our plan was to figure out everything on the way. So, everything was new. Everything bestowed upon us was a challenge, from integrating them to understanding them.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are really proud that we all could stay persistent enough to learn every one thing, from running into blockchain to understanding the realms of AI. And to a much greater extent we made it work.
What we learned: We learned networking, soft skills, to have fun between stress, teamwork, blockchain, AI, and what not.
