Oyojee - Body Dey Vibe

🎯 Inspiration I've been a musician since the age of 10, mainly focusing on guitar, synth, and vocals. I discovered Suno about a year and a half ago, and since then, I've been experimenting extensively with it. With the rise of AI, I dove into prompt engineering—exploring all types of requests, and for this project specifically, image and video prompts.

I've always created amateur music videos and covers since I was young, and today I find immense joy in exploring the possibilities offered by AI tools, which are becoming increasingly impressive. As a father of two young daughters, AI allows me to create and produce music and videos quickly—an undeniable advantage.

Driven by my passion for both music and AI, I launched my YouTube channel Oyojee (AI Artist) to share my AI-generated music and videos. I handle every step of the creative process solo, and for this AI Artist persona, I primarily produce urban music.

Body Dey Vibe is influenced by artists like Asake, Burna Boy, Dadju, Joeboy, Ayra Starr, Gims, Nakamura, Davido. A mix between Nigerian and French cultures.

⚙️ What It Does Body Dey Vibe is a vibrant, AI-generated urban track paired with a summer-themed video. It blends catchy rhythms with visual storytelling designed to evoke joy, movement, and celebration. The project showcases how AI can be used to produce high-quality music and visuals that feel authentic and emotionally resonant. I mainly used Nigerian Pidgin for the lyrics.

🛠️ How I Built It I used Suno to generate the music, Midjourney for visual assets, and CapCut to edit and assemble the video. The process involved crafting precise prompts to guide the AI tools toward the desired aesthetic and emotional tone. I handled all aspects of production—from concept to final export—on my own.

⚔️ Challenges I Ran Into The biggest challenge was achieving realism and emotional impact while using AI-generated content. I wanted the video to feel natural and immersive, not artificial or generic. Balancing fun, color, and authenticity required careful prompt tuning and visual editing. Another challenge was time—working solo while managing family life meant optimizing every step of the process.

🏆 Accomplishments That I'm Proud Of

• Released a fully AI-generated music video that feels real and engaging
• Achieved strong organic performance on YouTube without paid promotion
• Built a consistent creative workflow using multiple AI tools
• Developed a unique artistic identity through the Oyojee persona
• Won a few Suno contests

📚 What I Learned This project taught me how to push AI tools beyond their default outputs. I learned how to craft prompts that evoke emotion, how to edit AI visuals for realism, and how to structure music-video projects efficiently. I also deepened my understanding of audience engagement and how to create content that sparks curiosity and joy.

🚀 What's Next for Oyojee Next up: a new music video, a full album, and a special project to rework older tracks with improved production. I’ll continue participating in Suno contests to challenge myself creatively and explore new sonic and visual territories. The ultimate goal: to turn this passion into a full-time path.
