In November of 2011, Rice’s schedule assisting website went live. This tool, named SchedulePlanner, was designed to assist students in planning their courses for each upcoming semester. Despite SchedulePlanner’s advancements, many students still found it a frustrating, convoluted site to use. OwlPlanner++, with its sleek, clean layout, has an intuitive user-interface that delivers only the information that students are interested in seeing, namely the schedule visualization, course evaluations, professor ratings, and grade distributions. OwlPlanner++ is the improved scheduling tool that Rice students have been waiting for.

The technology used included Python, Javascript, Angular JS, and SQLite3.
