Inspiration

Platforms like Fizz may not be a safe/comfortable environment to post about academic-related posts, questions, or any advice. That's why Owlet came to be!

What it does

Owlet is a social platform for SCU to publish any comments or concerns related to academics. You can also view other people's thoughts! Owlet's coolest feature is that you can add classes' channels to be added into a group chat with other students who are taking/taken the class, a shared drive where you can add homework, study guides and more to help the students and general reviews of the class. Additionally, clubs can enroll in the app to announce any events they have going on to the students who are following them. Lastly, students have the option to maintain anonymous or not.

How we built it

Using Claude (Design and Code) & Butterbase, we were able to fully develop the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of further developing our Vibe Coding skills and seeing our ideas come to reality by using cool tools like Claude!

What's next for owlet.

We hope to see SCU students to try out our app, give us suggestions and work on them to better our app!
