Inspiration
We wanted to make a login page that is funny, chaotic, and dramatic on purpose.
What it does
It shows a bright, loud login screen with: A username and password box A countdown timer A small number-sorting puzzle Confetti, popups, and other fun animations A dramatic “success” page after logging in
How we built it
HTML to create the login box and puzzle CSS to make the bright background, animations, and effects JavaScript to run the timer, puzzle logic, and popups
Challenges we ran into
Making the page chaotic but still usable Getting the animations to work together Making the drag-and-drop puzzle behave correctly
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The login page looks funny and memorable The extra interactions make the page feel like a mini-game The CSS animations add a lot of personality
What we learned
We learned how to connect HTML, CSS, and JavaScript so they work smoothly together. We practiced using animations, timers, and drag-and-drop code to make interactive features. Making a playful login page helps people enjoy a normally boring task. Bright colors and movement can change the whole mood of a design. Even small interactive challenges can keep users engaged.
What's next for Overstimulating Login Page
Add harder puzzle modes Make the chaos increase based on how the user behaves Add a mode to calm things down Create more versions of the success page
