Inspiration
We were inspired to take on the Conoco Phillips challenged to make complex data easier to interpret.
What it does
The website is intended to pull data from government oil APIs and organize the data into graphs and charts.
How we built it
We used html, css, and JavaScript to make a website.
Challenges we ran into
None of us had previously used html or css. At every step we had to research then implement unfamiliar tools.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to make several working buttons, even ones of abstract shapes and navigate between pages. We also animated buttons to enhance user experience.
What we learned
We learned the basics of css and html to form the beginnings of a working website.
What's next for Outta Ctrl
We intend to learn more about the capability of html and css in web development.
