Inspiration
We were all new to trading, so our strategy emerged naturally from watching the market and trying to understand it.
What it does
Most of the Notebooks consists of visualizations and test data to gauge rough estimates of valuation and volatility. We did end up not using the (unfinished) bot trading strategy, as we deemed what we had too unreliable to keep it running without a human in the loop.
How we built it
Python, Jupyter Notebooks and all the usual libraries. Nothing noteworthy.
Challenges we ran into
Having to modify the bot to avoid overly spamming requests was a challenge, but it ended up pushing us even more into our successful strategy.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Understanding the market and having confirmation of said understanding by being high up on the leaderboard.
What we learned
Finding patterns, visualizing data.
