When we launched OurStreets Supplies two weeks ago, we said that we wanted to help people take control and make empowered choices during such an uncertain time. We’ve seen tremendous success so far, and I’m humbled by the kind words and truly wonderful feedback many people have sent our way.
Over the last few days, people in nearly 40 states have used OurStreets to share more than 1,600 reports about what’s in stock in their community. They’re sharing OurStreets with neighbors, friends, and family, and are making essential shopping trips safer for everyone and helping prevent the spread of COVID-19.
That’s why I’m so proud to share our newest tool, our Supplies Map, viewable now at www.ourstreets.com/supplies.
How it works
Just like our in-app search, our community-driven platform powers the OurStreets Supplies map to look for basic staples like soaps and sanitizers, diapers and baby needs, fresh produce and, of course, toilet paper.
Now, anyone can use OurStreets to see where supplies are available across the country, all from a simple page on the OurStreets website - no download required.
When people share what they see, everyone can be a stakeholder in creating safer and healthier communities. Together, we can make essential trips easier and safer for everyone.
