Our HDB

Inspiration

As some of us live in HDBs and have encountered issues in fault reporting, we decided to build upon the problems we faced. As we went on, we added features that we felt would incentivise people to use our website, along with features to help build a sense of community amongst the users.

What it does

The features of our program include: Fault reporting, Event hosting/management, Carpark finder/management, Leaderboard/digital badge reward system, Singpass API login feature

How we built it

Using next.js, tailwind, pocketbase.

Challenges we ran into

Piecing together all the different components of our website and coordinating using github. Initially we also had trouble coming up with a practical, profitable and realistic solution to the problem set.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Producing a fully functioning web app that does everything we set out to do and more.

What we learned

Effective communication, using new technologies and ideating for unique problems that arise while development. Additionally, we also learned to think from the user's perspective and create a site that is intuitive and user friendly.
