Inspiration
During our frequently heated debates around climate change, my older brother had so much misinformation spewed at him (mainly from facebook (ew)) regarding climate change. Instead of giving him 20 websites to look through and learn about the topic, I decided to make a simple page explaining climate change that only requires the person to scroll and read.
What it does
Our Climate explains climate change, its causes, and solutions.
How we built it
I utilized HTML, CSS, and JS while building this website.
Challenges we ran into
Implementing parallax scrolling was a bit challenging but I persevered :D
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully including parallax scrolling throughout the website makes me teary eyes every time I think about it :,)
What we learned
I definitely learned more about climate change when I was scrounging for a reliable source.
What's next for Our Climate
I would like to enhance the visuals in the future. That could include moving text, moving arrows, and an interactive visual.
