A lot of medical entities disable to provide modern telemedicine services.
What it does
Its a SaaS platform that also can be hosted privately. The platform lets doctor to register, verifies his right to practice and lets him contact current patients via VOIP
How I built it
The platform is built in Ruby on Rails and is using local government APIs to verify doctors authenticity and Twilio to provide VIOP
Challenges I ran into
Obtaining local governments API keys is a challenge
What's next for OTP - Open Telemedicine Platform
The roadmap includes Biometric-as-a-service to verify patient identity based on scanned ID
