Inspiration

The ability to access all resources on the Internet without restrictions.

What it does

Our software solution automates the configuration of a personal private network for any user, which allows you to save a lot of time, as well as share access to such a network with loved ones.

How we built it

On pure enthusiasm - after all, we are students, and the goal was to get new knowledge, gain experience in developing such software solutions, and, above all, make life easier for ourselves. When there is no way to get access to the teaching materials of the University, what can we talk about if not about VPN?

Challenges we ran into

The main problem was in learning how new tools work - such as docker, for example. There was a high threshold for entering the project, since the bar was also set too high: at the beginning of work on the project, only the PM saw the approximate architecture of the application. The developer Dmitry, in turn, often encountered problems in his work using bash scripts - it turned out that this language is very picky about various trifles.

What we learned

First of all, we honed our teamwork skills. Tools like Figma and the Django framework are now no strangers. Each of us has improved our Linux administration skills; the developer Timofey, in turn, strengthened his skills in working with ORM, MVC and Telegram API.

What's next for OTETO

  • Improving the intuitiveness of the interface, taking into account the general opinion of users of the product;
  • Development of achievements;
  • Payment automation;
  • Paid subscription to provide additional privileges;
  • Simplification of complex processes.

Ми зробили Telegram бота, завдяки якому кожен може запілити собі особистий, приватний VPN сервер за пару баксів на місяць (не нам, на хостінг) де немає обмежень на трафік та швидкість 200 МБ/с! Серйозно, де ви таке бачили? Звісно, є багато інструкцій в мережі, як зробити це самостійно, але ж не всі ми IT-фахівці, та чесно кажучи мені, да і не тільки мені, лінь кожен раз це повторювати руцями :) А тут тепер зробили зручне керування, інтуїтивний інтерфейс (згодом запілю новий відосик, де продемонструю ще декілька фіч). З наших тестів, 52 пристрої нормально користуються таким сервісом не заважаючи один одному.

Плануємо продовжувати. Планів реально дофіга і вони реально амбіційні :)

Дещо з планів

  1. Блокування реклами.
  2. Фальсифікація fingerprint.
  3. Робота з іншими дистрибутивами Linux.
  4. Автоматизація покупки сервера.
  5. Об'єднувати VPN сервери різних користувачів в мережі.
  6. З'явитись і в інших месенджерах.
  7. Локальна мережа.
  8. Сервер як хмара.
  9. NFT ачівки. І це ще далеко не всі :)

Власний VPN сервер ще + 1 клік ;) Не треба бути прогером, щоб отримати свій VPN сервер; Экономія часу, колосальна! Ми не збираємо інформацію про вас. Ми також користуємось нашим творінням. Це принципово. Можно використати нашого бота для налаштування та повністю видалитись із системи (ми нічого не залишаємо "про всяк випадок"). В нас офігенський сайт!

Натхнення

Надихнули нас лінощі та параноя! Бажання допомогти всім і кожному, може навіть насильно. Зібралася реально відпадна команда!

Як ми це збудували?

Через біль, складності та незнання, але з величезним ентузіазмом. З скурпулезностью і гумором, з прискіпливістю і завзятістю :) А головне, що всі задоволені! Проект розвивається навіть краще ніж ми планували.

## Досягнення, якими ми пишаємося Йоу! Ми освоїли безліч нових знань, бралися за те, в чому не розбиралися і нас нічого не лякає! Зараз кожен із команди пишається тим, що отримав за цей проект. Так само гордість за те, що ми реалізуємо нашу ціль! Ми допомагаємо всім, кому можемо. Офігєнно!
