Inspiration

Enterprises are racing to adopt AI, but the reality is messy and disconnected. According to MIT, 95% of AI projects fail before reaching production. As AWS engineers, we’ve seen this challenge firsthand across enterprise and public sector environments. Teams want to deploy conversational assistants, AI-powered search, multimodal applications, voice interfaces, and intelligent agents to automate real workflows. Yet the capabilities needed to build these systems are scattered across different models, APIs, tools, and pricing structures. Context is difficult to maintain, governance becomes complex, and engineers spend enormous time stitching services together. The problem isn’t a lack of powerful models — it’s the lack of a unified interface for building and managing AI agents at scale.

That challenge inspired us to build Osirus AI — the UI for Nova AI.

What It Does

Osirus is the UI for Nova AI: A unified enterprise AI development platform powered by Amazon Bedrock and the entire family of Nova foundation models, all hosted in your own AWS account. It enables organizations to deploy agentic AI strategies, where intelligent agents use Amazon Nova reasoning capabilities to tackle complex real-world problems. Osirus supports multimodal AI, allowing teams to build applications that can search, understand, and generate content and answers across text, documents, images, and video – with context maintained across your projects. Through a simple interface, users can deploy Nova Act–powered agents that interact with web applications to automate operational workflows. With Nova Sonic, teams can create low-latency, real-time conversational voice experiences. Instead of managing multiple AI tools and APIs, enterprises get a unified orchestration layer with observability and governance, allowing developers to move faster, experiment safely, and standardize how AI gets built and deployed.

How We Built It

Osirus AI was built as a fully serverless architecture on AWS, designed for scalability, security, and high availability. The platform leverages Amazon Bedrock to access the Nova family of models for reasoning, multimodal generation, automation, and speech-driven interactions. Nova models enable conversational agents, multimodal content generation, UI automation, and speech-driven experiences within the platform. As experienced AWS DevOps and cloud architecture specialists, we knew AWS provided the ideal environment for building a production-ready AI platform capable of supporting enterprise workloads and real-world applications.

Challenges We Ran Into

One of the most complex challenges we faced involved real-time voice interaction. Voice-based AI systems introduce unique orchestration problems compared to text interfaces, particularly when users interrupt or change direction during a conversation. Without careful design, interruptions can break the flow of interaction. To address this, we engineered a stateful conversational session layer that allows voice interactions to remain natural even when users interrupt, redirect, or change topics mid-conversation, creating a smoother human-like voice experience powered by Nova Sonic.

Accomplishments We’re Proud of

Osirus AI represents a major step toward making production-ready AI agents accessible to real organizations. By combining Amazon Bedrock, Nova foundation models, and modern AWS cloud architecture, we built a platform that allows teams to move quickly from experimentation to real deployment. The platform already supports the types of capabilities our customers are asking for — from intelligent agents to automated workflows and voice-enabled services. Most importantly, Osirus allows organizations to transform AI concepts into operational systems faster and more cost-effectively.

What We Learned

Building Osirus reinforced how rapidly Amazon Nova is changing the economics of enterprise AI development. Nova models provide the combination of reasoning power, multimodal intelligence, low latency, and cost efficiency needed to make AI practical at scale. This dramatically lowers the barrier to entry for organizations that previously lacked the resources to build advanced AI systems. For public sector and mission-driven organizations in particular, these capabilities open the door to AI solutions that can improve services, automate operations, and accelerate innovation.

What’s Next for Osirus AI: The UI for Nova AI

Osirus AI is being developed by a startup based in St. Petersburg, Florida, focused on building the next generation of infrastructure for the agentic economy. Our vision is to evolve Osirus into a scalable orchestration platform for AI agents, enabling organizations to design, deploy, and manage multimodal intelligent systems securely within their own environments.

Next, we plan to expand:

  • agent orchestration capabilities
  • workflow automation tools
  • multimodal AI experiences
  • integrations with enterprise and public sector data systems.

We are currently seeking seed funding and strategic partners to accelerate development and bring Osirus AI to organizations building the future of intelligent systems.

Our mission remains simple: make AI usable, scalable, and economically accessible for the organizations shaping the next generation of innovation.

Why This Matters for the AWS Ecosystem

Osirus AI helps accelerate adoption of Amazon Bedrock and the Nova family of models by providing a unified interface for building and deploying multimodal AI agents. By running within a customer’s AWS account and integrating directly with Bedrock, Osirus enables organizations to experiment with Nova capabilities while maintaining enterprise-grade security, governance, and scalability. Our goal is to make it easier for developers, enterprises, and public sector teams to build real-world AI applications powered by Amazon Nova.
