This film is the proof of what happens when an idea refuses to stay in your head. Translating imagination into reality is ancient human labor, AI or not and this project forced me to learn that discipline. I had to pull abstract thoughts into language, then into imagery, then into a world that finally matched the one I carried for years. I’m not a traditionally trained artist, but these tools finally gave me a voice big enough to draw what I’ve always seen. Every frame carries a piece of me: my culture, my West African folklore, my obsession with sibling bonds, adventure, and strong female leads. As a kid who loved anime but rarely saw anyone who looked like me on screen, I’m building the kind of story I needed , a world where we exist, beautifully, powerfully, and unapologetically.
