A fellow IITian friend of mine was already using an OS he had built himself—and that stuck with me. It made me think beyond just using systems to actually understanding and interacting with them at a deeper level.

While I didn’t build an operating system from scratch, this project is inspired by that mindset. Instead of staying at the surface level, I focused on building a system that interacts closely with the machine—monitoring processes, analyzing system behavior, and detecting anomalies through a structured backend.

Through this project, I explored how system-level data can be organized, processed, and exposed via APIs, and how a clean frontend can make this information intuitive and actionable.

The goal wasn’t to recreate an OS, but to take a step toward understanding and working closer to it—bridging the gap between high-level applications and low-level system insights.
