🌍 OrphanCare Planner – Project Story

✨ Inspiration

We were inspired by the struggles of orphanages in accessing food, volunteers, and mentorship.
Many orphanages lack a structured system to request help, so we created a digital platform that ensures resource accessibility while aligning with:

• SDG 1: No Poverty
  
• SDG 2: Zero Hunger
  

💡 What it does

OrphanCare Planner is a web-based platform that:

• Connects orphanage principals with the Rah e Ilahi team.
  
• Allows event and volunteer requests.
  
• Tracks upcoming events and assigned volunteers.
  
• Enables mentor communication inside dashboards.
  
• Sends automated notifications for updates.
  
• Facilitates food and resource distribution to orphanages.
  
• Supports poverty reduction through equal access to resources.

🛠️ How we built it

1. Frontend – Responsive dashboards for admins and principals.

3. Database – Designed schemas for orphanages, volunteers, and requests.
