Inspiration

My friends and I have always loved to experiment and create new ideas, so naturally, we test out ideas in hackathons and you know win cool prizes :) but we've always had one bottleneck in the way, causing the question: How do we better organise and build while also having to do that in a single space? And that led me to build Orion-sync, a space where we can earn share rewards and also collaborate with timeline events, and project resources.

What it does

Orion-sync allows anyone to have a document where they can collaborate with other creators, work on a challenge, schedule meetups, and also earn digital tokens in one space! I built a custom pack to integrate with Coda's documents. These packs add more functions to the template, like video meetings and also an in-template contract wallet.

How we built it

I extensively used coda formulas, tables and a custom package called Orion that adds video meetings hosted by Huddle01 a decentralized platform and also an in-template contract wallet (still in development).

Challenges we ran into

The iframe permissions in Coda documents are restrictive when using camera and audio but I found a workaround. Learning to use Coda was a little difficult but after reviewing some templates in the resource section, learning about more complex interactions was all smooth!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building a simple Pack to add free video meetings and a contract wallet (still in development)

What we learned

That no-code tools to an extent are the future!

What's next for Orion-sync

working on implementing the wallet and also creating a better-polished video meeting experience
