Inspiration

Despite the growing number of security tools - such as browser extensions, password managers, and privacy-focused search engines - many people remain unaware of their existence or lack the knowledge to use them effectively. AI is evolving rapidly, yet users often struggle to find the right resources or guidance to protect their privacy and security in the digital ecosystem.

What it does

We aim to solve this problem by creating Orion, your intelligent, LLM-powered security assistant. With Orion, you can quickly search for security tips, such as "How do I set up a secure home network?", and receive instant, focused, and relevant steps, along with curated sources like videos for deeper understanding. Beyond advice and educational learning bits, Orion offers powerful built-in tools, including:

• 🔐 A Smart, Encryption-Protected Password Manager to securely store and manage credentials.
• 🚨 Personal Data Breach Detection to alert you if your information appears in a data leak.
• 📚 A Conversational AI Agent that explains privacy policies and security terms in simple language.
• 👾 A Creative Password Generator that creates unique, strong passwords.

How we built it

Security Features:

• oauth with JWT: For secure user authentication.
• PII Anonymization with Microsoft Presidio: We used Microsoft Presidio & Python’s spaCy NLP library to automatically anonymize sensitive user input.
• CryptoJS Hashing & Encryption: For creating a secure password manager.
• Google Safe Browsing API: For malicious link detection.
• HIBP API: For breach detection of personal data.
• Google Cloud Vision API: Label & landmark detection used to generate creative, strong passwords based on an image!
