I created animated video clips using ViduAI's I2V features and edited them in After Effects
Challenges we ran into
When adapting a novel into a music video—a different medium with distinct visual approaches—we experimented with how to draw viewers in through lyrics, melody, and visuals alone, without dialogue. This involved carefully selecting scenes that captured the original story's narrative and atmosphere.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We resolved the aforementioned issues and completed it as a story animation music video.
What we learned
By undertaking the new challenge of expressing a novel as a music video, we were able to expand the possibilities of generative AI. Using a horror novel as our subject matter also allowed us to learn how far AI can express itself.
What's next for Original Music Video "禍ノ胎動 -禍神譚 序章-"
This work serves as the prologue to the novel, so we will produce additional music videos as a full-season anime series akin to Japanese commercial anime, leading up to the climax.
