Inspiration
Ori was inspired by the realization that time is our most valuable resource. We were driven to create an intelligent tool that helps individuals optimize their day, not just by managing schedules but also by providing insights into how they can achieve a better work-life balance. The inspiration also came from the constant human endeavor to reach the stars, as symbolized by the Orion constellation.
What it does
Ori serves as a comprehensive AI assistant that streamlines and optimizes daily tasks. Think of it as a personal secretary meets a consultant - it manages complex schedules, recommends optimizations, and provides actionable insights to augment productivity. By understanding the unique needs of each user, Ori aids in achieving an ideal life balance, ensuring time is spent most effectively.
How we built it
Built upon SiriKit and Gpt 3.5 turbo model, we utilized Swift and Pythonkit to integrate both API's from Siri and Gpt .
Challenges we ran into
While there were many challenges that were encountered, one of the largest challenges was understanding how both SiriKit's and Open AI's API structure was compromised with.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The main accomplishment that I'm proud of was the ability to make it this far and not give up on the project despite it not working.
What we learned
I've learned how to better understand API calls and make calls to the API between two different software that also are utilizing different languages.
What's next for Ori
Ori will be still in development after the hackathon, for it to become a real world product.
