Inspiration
We used to miss course deadlines repeatedly, and it became tedious to check Canvas every time for due assignments. The UI wasn't great either, making it a frustrating experience.
What it does
Organize Me lists assignments due, categorized course-wise, making it easier to track deadlines efficiently.
How we built it
We built this project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was implementing and fetching data from the API to retrieve assignment details.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was our team's first hackathon, and despite that, we were able to work collaboratively and successfully build the project.
What we learned
We gained experience in implementing APIs and working as a team in a fast-paced environment.
What's next for Organize Me
Currently, users need to manually enter their API token. In the future, we plan to implement a system where users can log in directly using their SFU Canvas credentials.
