🚀 Inspiration : The rise of e-commerce has brought convenience, but also customer service challenges—especially around order tracking and returns. We envisioned an AI-powered Service Agent that could reduce support load while enhancing user experience through automation. Salesforce AgentForce provided the perfect platform to bring this idea to life.
⚙️ What it does : OrderEase – Smart Service Agent for E-commerce Automation enables customers to:
Instantly retrieve order status, tracking information, and item details.
Easily initiate and manage returns without human intervention.
Interact with a conversational agent powered by Flows, Apex, and prompt templates.
Experience a personalized journey through custom logic and contextual flows.
🧱 How we built it : We leveraged AgentForce Trailhead modules to create the foundational Service Agent.
Built custom actions using Salesforce Flow and Apex to fetch order details and trigger return processes.
Integrated prompt templates to deliver AI-generated, context-aware responses.
Used Record-Triggered Flows for backend automation of return logic.
Packaged everything with a clean user interface to enhance the customer experience.
🧩 Challenges we ran into : Designing a smooth multi-step return experience using just Flows was tricky.
Prompt template tuning took time to ensure responses were accurate and friendly.
Managing data lookups and validation while keeping the UX conversational posed integration challenges.
