Inspiration

We as a Team have been learning Web Technologies/Frameworks for a while now and the fact that we want to implement the Tech Stack to build something inspires us. Therefore, we aim to provide a convenient platform for customers to order food from multiple local restaurants: By creating a website that brings together menu offerings from multiple restaurants. We can work on the present platforms' disadvantages and create a Business Opportunity.

What it does

The Website makes it easier for customers to search for different dishes from local restaurants on a single platform and place their orders. It also allows consumers to check the real-time status of their order, from restaurant acceptance to preparation to delivery at their doorstep.

How we built it

We plan to build the Website using the following Tech Stack:

  • Html/CSS/Bootstrap* for the Front-end.
  • Python, Django, JavaScript(ajax, jQuery)* for the Back-end.
  • PostgreSQL (Database)

Challenges we ran into

  • The CRUD operations when it comes to Food Items for a Particular Vendor
  • Payment Integration and storing the Bill

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The Team has been through thick and thin, leading to building a cohesive and supportive team culture that created a positive and collaborative work environment. It's an accomplishment that we are proud of apart from learning the relevant Web Technologies together.
