Inspiration
One current passion that truly energizes me is indie game development—those independently crafted experiences that showcase pure creativity and innovation. My journey began with two seemingly simple yet brilliant titles: Jetpack Joyride, with its addictive endless gameplay that kept me coming back for "just one more run," and Flappy Bird, a viral sensation that proved how a deceptively simple one-button mechanic could captivate millions. These games opened my eyes to the power of elegant design and inspired me to create something of my own.
What it does
What started as a week-long experiment quickly evolved into something far beyond my initial expectations. I found myself completely absorbed in the development process, losing hours to the satisfying cycle of coding, testing, and iterating. That simple prototype blossomed into a fully playable 2D demo called "Orbiton's Adventure." The rush of seeing my creation come to life was intoxicating, and my passion for the project has only grown stronger. I've since expanded the concept into a 3D version with enhanced graphics and am now working toward a comprehensive mobile release. There's something magical about transforming an idea from your imagination into an interactive experience that others can enjoy.
How we built it
Using modern development tools like Cursor IDE, I challenged myself to see how quickly I could prototype my own take on the endless runner genre. I wanted to create something that honored the classics while infusing it with unique thematic elements and a distinctive visual style that would make it unmistakably mine.
