Inspiration

We love physics and the them was space. So we decided to do orbital motion since that involves planets

What it does

Give a visual based on the values you input and calculations done with physics

How we built it

p5 was used for simulator, html and css was used for website. It was all built on replit

Challenges we ran into

First time using vectors (from p5), so ran into a lot of script errors. It was hard implementing physics into code, since physics is already very hard to understand. Also lots of typos and divs not working the way we want them to work. When coding there was also a lot of buffering caused by bad code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the object to orbit! Making it interactive. Completing it in less than 2 days :D

What we learned

How to use javascript classes better. More styling in css and general html skills.

What's next for Orbital Physics Simulator

Improving the simulator code to make it more realistic and accurate. Plus making it 3D objects, instead of 2D
