Inspiration
The idea for CodeOrbit came from a common problem — students solve many DSA problems but still struggle with understanding concepts and lack a clear learning direction. Existing platforms focus more on quantity rather than guiding students effectively.
What it does
CodeOrbit is an AI-powered platform that provides personalized DSA learning. It analyzes user performance, identifies weak topics, and recommends the next best problems, along with revision tools and progress tracking.
How we built it
I built CodeOrbit App by using React and Tailwind for the frontend, with backend logic designed using Node.js and MongoDB. I implemented data-driven logic to simulate AI-based recommendations and analytics.
Challenges we ran into
Designing an effective recommendation system and balancing advanced features with a simple, user-friendly interface were our biggest challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I successfully created a prototype that demonstrates personalized learning, analytics-based insights, and a structured DSA roadmap in a clean and engaging UI.
What we learned
I learned how to build scalable web applications, design user-centric systems, and apply data analytics to create personalized learning experiences.
What's next for Orbit_Minds
I plan to enhance the AI system, integrate real coding platforms, and expand CodeOrbit into a complete ecosystem connecting students, mentors, and recruiters.
