Inspiration
As a dental student, I frequently observe high rates of early childhood tooth decay and a lack of engaging, accessible oral hygiene education for parents and children. This inspired me to create Oral Genius—a digital solution to make preventive pediatric dentistry intuitive, interactive, and impactful.
What it does
Oral Genius is an interactive digital healthcare platform dedicated to pediatric oral care and cavity prevention. It empowers families with practical guidance on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and tooth decay prevention through smart, user-friendly educational modules.
How I built it
The platform was built using fundamental web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for responsive UI/UX design. I integrated Generative AI and prompt engineering to structure engaging educational content and interactive health guides tailored for pediatric oral care.
Challenges I ran into
Simplifying complex clinical dental concepts into clear, engaging visual content suitable for parents and young children while maintaining technical accuracy and smooth user experience.
