Based on the challenge given by Fannie Mae.
What it does
Analyses whether the information entered about a potential home buyer will be eligible to get a home loan approved.
How we built it
Built on top of Django and the code was written on a Jupyter Notebook using the conditions provided by the company.
Challenges we ran into
Unaware of web development as it was our first time building a website, we ran into several problems about executing the design we had in mind into actual code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Writing efficient code behind the classification process and make the website look and feel legitimate.
What we learned
The process of home buying is a long and arduous process and getting a home loan approved requires a lot of conditions met. We learnt how to code in HTML and CSS and got an insight into the timeline of how websites and projects are built.
What's next for Fannie Mae Competition
Understanding the company's activities and how a classification code can be used for a population representative sample data of interested customers.
